On the southern side there lies a beach that is a 5-minute walk from the apartments, as well as several smaller stone coves. You can also reach the beach by car. There are 2 restaurants and a cove that has berths for boats – you can rent a boat or join an excursion tour around the nearby islands and visit the Green Cave. On the north-western side there is a special jewel, beach Srebrna that has preserved its old Mediterranean characteristics and has gentle pebbles, stone plates and large round stones. Above the beach there lies a pine forest that lures you to spend the entire day on the beach, deeply hidden in its shade. On the beach there is a small cool-box with juices and water. The beach is facing the open sea and is safely secured by buoys. It will take you only 7 minutes by foot to reach it. Since it is believed that there was a mine in this area during the Roman Empire, the numerous natural caves and those excavated by the human hand, undoubtedly contribute to the particularity of this area. At the very southwest of Rukavac, there are large stone plates that are, with their hidden nooks, ideal for enjoying a personal part of the sea, without any noise, only with the sound of waves and crickets. Rukavac is a small fishing village with summer houses. In the village there are no shops, but a mobile bakery regularly drops by every morning and a mobile market hall, a truck with vegetables and fruit, every evening. Those who wish to enjoy seafood, can do that in the small restaurants in the port.
